forgetful Monday

it is ok - I knew you would be super-tired today. I will, indeed, have food ready for you to take back and eat. And I will pack your bag - laptop, usb cable...anything else?

My goal tonight is to get the tree set up, and maybe arrange the room in there so things will fit... I am thinking I might have to move that chair once we get your Grandma's table set up - not sure on that. But I am trying to take that into consideration when planning where to put the tree... it will all get figured out, I know, so I am really trying not to stress about it yet...

well that is fine since I will see you for a minute. maybe you can call me later or something.

The tree is looking good - I can't get it "fluffed" as much as I would like, so I went ahead and started decorating it. I know you are supposed to put lights on first, but I will need help with that, so I went ahead and hung bulbs - it is going to look really sharp when it's done. I think it looks sharp now for how little I've done :)

Jarin has been pretty good - he is playing with/eating one if his new biter biscuits right now - he is going to need a bath BAD tonight. FYI for you to spare you from future grief, the biter biscuits are messy!

I am going to go get started on your supper - I think you will like it, so I hopr you do!

.....so...how was it...?

(I thought the chicken felt...soggy? Of course, I do not eat it, so I do not cook it, so I really don't know...)

gravy was runny, pretty close to liquid... strange, one cup water to one packet is all that is needed, there is nothing else you have to do than otherwise cook it long enough... i have no spoon so was not able to eat it all :/ it was otherwise good, and the chicken was a nice surprise... at first i thought you put stir fry chicken pieces in a bowl and nuked it... then later, I realized I had chicken in the freezer. it was a bit limp for chicken, but that is how that processed stuff is.

well, sorry about the gravy - I was hoping that it would cool & thicken by the time you got back to eat. Oh well. I did put a spoon in there - it was wrapped in the paper towel with the fork. I am glad it was a nice surprise for you to have chicken from me :) I love you THAT much.

well, I hope that when all was said & done you had yummy tastes in your mouth & a full stomach!
